We’ve been doing what we do best – building homes for people like you - for more than 25 years. And in that time, we have helped more than 25,000 Canadians move into a home of their own. Of course, we started out with a different name - Intrawest – and building many other things as well as homes. Intrawest built commercial properties and government buildings, but their focus was – and still is – resort development. Blackcomb/Whistler in British Columbia, Mt.Tremblant in Quebec, Waikoloa in Hawaii and La Jolla in California.
We realized that the development of resorts is very different to the development of residential communities, and that’s when we became Intracorp. Our focus and our commitment is to develop homes and communities on a human scale for daily life.
We have been honoured with many awards, both locally and internationally, for the communities we have developed throughout Canada. This recognition has come from our colleagues – the Urban Development Institute, Gold Nugget Awards, many gold and silver Georgie awards. But we know that the most valuable recognition comes from our customers, the people who live in the homes that we build - people like you. And we know we have done something right when an existing homeowner moves into a new Intracorp community.
