When they migrated to Canada from Romania nearly seven years ago, Nicoleta (Nikki) Kallo and her husband Catalin (CK) knew only a handful of people in Calgary, today they probably can’t walk through a mall without bumping into a friend or two.

That they were able to establish an ever-expanding circle of friends in so relatively short a time is no surprise, as both are warm, friendly, down-to-earth people as anyone can meet, with a lively sense of humour that everyone seems to respond to almost immediately.

What really makes this accomplishment more amazing is that they were able to form strong, lasting friendships through their work in Calgary’s cynical, hard-knock real estate world.

“We’ve never been about just taking the money, we care more that our clients are happy with the home they buy and satisfied with our services,” CK says. “We are after all a family business, and that is how we treat clients – as part of our family,” Nikki adds.

The pair has been in the business for four years and has an astonishing 95 percent referral rate, a testament to their outstanding service that forges bonds of friendship even in the most casual business transaction. The secret is simple: they assist their clients from A to Z, while including them in their real estate team to achieve the final goal of finding their dream home.
